IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain-Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Clubs will meet at noon Friday, Nov. 1, at Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain.

Guest speaker will be Barb Kramer of the Dickinson County Board and treasurer of the Lake Antoine Park Partners. She will give a complete update and PowerPoint program on improvements by the Lake Antoine Park Partners. There will be time for questions and answers following her presentation.

Menu includes roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and corn. Cost is $15, all-inclusive.

Plans are being made and volunteers are needed for the Denim and Diamonds fall fundraiser Thursday, Nov. 7, at Pine Grove Country Club. Tickets are $25 and available at Erickson Jewelers and Radio NOW. The grand prize is a sterling and chocolate diamond necklace donated by Erickson Jewelers of Iron Mountain valued at $600. Vase drawing baskets are also needed.

The ways and means committee also has fruitcakes, chocolates and nuts for sale.

Vintage jewelry will be sold during the luncheon.

Grocery receipts from Tadych’s Family Market and Super One also will be collected.
