AAUW plans Christmas party on Dec. 10

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain-Kingsford Branch of American Association for University Women will meet on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at the Chippewa Club for the annual Christmas Party.

The social hour will begin at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 5:30 p.m. The dinner will include Coq aux vin, chicken slowly braised in red wine, mushroom and lardon sauce, vegetables and mashed potatoes. The dessert is a Yule log.

Activities of the evening include a presentation by Officer Adam Ray with his police dog Falcon and a Christmas drawing. All proceeds from the evening’s activities will be used for scholarships for women of the community.
