IRON MOUNTAIN –Members of the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Area Zonta Club have their annual fundraising Koeze Nuts available at Nic’s Boutique in Iron Mountain and the Ultimate Bride shop in Norway.

The majority of Zonta’s proceeds from the sales go toward local community projects and award/scholarship programs, such as Caring House’s new Child Advocacy Center, Young Women in Science Scholarships, Young Women in Public Affairs Award, the 4-H Proud Equestrian Program, Big Brothers-Big Sisters and the Nora Flemington Scholarship

“Remember that Koeze Nuts are great for employee/customer gifts, fantastic Christmas presents, and can even be a treat for yourself,” said Raquel Reed, Zonta president.

Additionally, this year the organization is celebrating Zonta’s 100th birthday and starting to sell tickets for their upcoming fundraiser event, Give Back Gala, formerly the Mom Prom.

The annual fundraiser will be April 4 at Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain.
