HANCOCK — Due to the coronavirus, riseUP and the Carnegie Museum in Houghton have rescheduled the “Notable Women in Hancock History” presentation by local historian John Haeussler as a Zoom event.

All are invited to join. The event will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. Eastern time Thursday, April 30.

The presentation is about a small sampling of prominent women, all one-time residents of Hancock, whose influence extends throughout the world. Audience participation is encouraged. Questions and discussion will come after the presentation.
