HOUGHTON– After a successful opening night reception March 5 at the Carnegie Museum in Houghton, riseUP closed the “Petticoat Patriots: How Michigan Women Won the Vote Virtual Tour” due to the coronavirus.

As this exhibit is on loan and must be returned before they will be open again, riseUP has created a virtual tour of the exhibit, featuring opening night photos and the music heard on opening night. Also included are pictures of the exhibits detailing Michigan Women’s struggle to win the vote.
