Scouts offer at-home activities

IRON MOUNTAIN — As a service to the community, the Bay-Lakes Council, Boy Scouts of America invites the public to take advantage of at-home character-building program ideas and resources for children and their families.

The objective is to offer activities and programs while so many are at home without access to school or extracurricular activities. These are designed for youth in kindergarten through 12th grade and their families.

Many of the activities accomplished by youth can immediately be rewarded by parents, guardians and other adults with a certificate of achievement they can print and award to their children.

To take advantage of an ever-increasing amount of at-home activities and program opportunities, those interested can go online to www.baylakesbsa.org/scouting-at- home/.

Those utilizing these resources need not be registered in the Bay-Lakes Council or Boy Scouts of America.

For more information, contact Hiawathaland District Director Patrick O’Brien at 920-419-8401 or patrick.obrien@scouting.org.
