Bay College announces winter 2020 dean’s list

ESCANABA — Bay de Noc Community College announces the names of the students who have earned recognition and membership to the dean’s list for scholarly excellence during the winter 2020 semester.

To be selected for the dean’s list, a student must earn a 3.50 grade-point average out of a possible 4.00, and must have completed 12 or more credit hours of college-level classes for the semester. Attainment of the minimum selection standard of 3.50 or better is a significant achievement, representing the best that can be expected of a college student.

Those students with a 4.0 grade point average are:

Channing — Kathryn Peterson;

Florence, Wis. — Jeremiah Nanninga;

Hermansville — Macy Whitens;

Iron Mountain — Lauren Czerwan, Luke Feldhausen, Daniel Harrington, Tatyana Johnson, Kayla Ling and Darin Smith;

Kingsford — Hanna Bowles, Richard Hall, Annie McCole, Mereta Post and Gage Yaggie;

Niagara, Wis. — Hunter Thompson;

Norway — Jamie Tinti and Dane VanDenHeuvel;

Vulcan — Carson Lagina.

Those students who received a 3.50 to 3.99 grade-point average are:

Amasa — Tejai Kernats;

Caspian — Tara Jenkins;

Channing — Scott Peterson;

Foster City — Lydia Johnson;

Iron Mountain — Emily Formolo, Ethan Freeman, Megan Gronert, Kylah Olson, Rylee Palmer, Bridget Simon and Justin Stankevich;

Iron River — Destiny Ferrara and Sulliana Parker;

Kingsford — Jacob Cherney, Thea Fradette, Steven Jesseman, Bridget Murphy, Nathan Rutter and Tracy VanDusen;
