Cities Wide Art for All this weekend

IRON MOUNTAIN –The traditional Art for All event at Iron Mountain’s City Park this year will be a home-based show, Cities Wide Art for All, due to the COVID-19 situation.

Artists will set up in garages or on lawns from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, with two artists to be open Sunday as well.

Visitors are invited to drive to the artist’s homes to make purchases. Two or three artists may set up at one house, just like a city-wide garage sale or home and garden show.

Maps will be available on the website at artforallmi.com, at First Bank and First National Bank & Trust, highlighting artist locations in Vulcan, Norway, Iron Mountain and Kingsford plus Spread Eagle and Niagara in Wisconsin.

While grown-ups view the artwork, children are invited to participate in a scavenger hunt, trying to spot a hidden object in each yard. No prizes will be awarded — the fun is in the searching.

“We ask that visitors wear masks and only touch artwork if they plan to purchase it,” said Lana Frantz, event coordinator.
