KHS prom courts, royalty
Kingsford High School hosted its 2021 Prom Grand March on May 15 in the Kingsford Middle School gym. The theme was “Dreamland — Written in the Stars.” Due to the pandemic, the Grand March featured the 2020 court as well as the 2021 court. Junior class officers in charge of the planning were President Aliyah Garvaglia, Vice President Brooke Bittinger, Treasurer Macy Holmes and Secretary Zoie Geronimi. The decorations were done by TDS and photos were taken by Amy Morgan. Nick Gayan recorded the Grand March and Darren Petschar and Rob Schillerstrom provided music and sound. The emcee for the event was David Holmes; KHS Junior Class Advisor is Jessica Garvaglia. I

- The local group 141 North Acoustic, featuring Matt Harvath, will appear at the Out to Lunch event Thursday. The concert runs from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the Systems Control Stage near the Magee Johnson Park, at Hughitt and Iron Mountain streets across from the Dickinson County Library.
