CALUMET — The 17th annual Main Street Calumet Pasty Fest will be from noon to 4 p.m. Eastern time Saturday in downtown Calumet.

Organizers announce the return of many favorite components of the event, such as the pasty bake-off, pasty-eating competition, the foam party, craft vendors, horseshoe tournament, car show, parade, live music and, of course, lots of pasties.

New to Pasty Fest will be activities in the 400 block of Fifth Street, including a flea market, rutabaga curling tournament and a few one-time-only happenings such as an open house at the new community garden.
