Christmas Tree Galleria runs through Sunday at IC Historical Museum

CASPIAN — The 32nd annual Christmas Tree Galleria runs through Sunday at the Iron County Historical Museum in Caspian.

The galleria will be open until 6 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

This year’s event will feature the return of beloved programs such as Family Night and Santa Lucia, as well as introduce new entertainment with a Cultural Christmas Concert to fit this year’s theme of “Christmas Around the World.”

Daily offerings throughout the galleria will include a display of more than 30 trees decorated by local businesses and groups, a gift basket raffle, and complimentary treats. Tickets for the basket raffle can be purchased in person or online. The drawing will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Bernhardt Cultural Center of the museum.

Special programs to be offered this year include Cultural Christmas Concert featuring a variety of music from local musicians at 6 tonight and the Santa Lucia program with Swedish music and treats at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The culmination of the event will be a Community Volunteer Recognition Ceremony, followed by the basket raffle drawing at noon Sunday. Community members who will be recognized this year are Deborah Davis for her dedication and work the Iron County Museum; Alisa Nelson for her cultural and creative contributions to Iron County; Dave McCord for his dedication to programs for Iron County youth; and Maureen Elson for her efforts in environmental protection and conservation.
