Wausaukee library to feature ‘Skins & Skulls’ presentation
WAUSAUKEE, WI — The final “Color Our World” Summer Library Program presentation at the Wausaukee Public Library will be “Skins & Skulls: The Wild Side of Wisconsin” at 1 p.m. Monday.
This presentation allows children to touch real animal furs and skulls while learning about local wildlife, then create a skull for their own imaginary animal.
The “Color Our World” Summer Library Program, which started June 9, aimed to bring hands-on fun, creative expression and nature-filled exploration to the community with a lineup of family-friendly programs. It is open to kids of all ages, from toddlers to great-grandparents.
“Our goal is to spark curiosity and creativity,” said Rebecca Livick, Wausaukee’s branch librarian. “Each Monday brings a new chance to learn, explore and just have fun together as a community.”
The program is free and open to the public. No library card is needed and the program is not limited to local residents — vacationers and visitors are welcome.
