Webinar on Tuesday for program on Loyal to Local effort

DICKINSON COUNTY — The Loyal to Local Planning Committee will host the third annual Loyal to Local presentation via webinar from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Central time Tuesday on the online platform GoToWebinar.

The session will include Rich Mortl, chairman of the Loyal to Local Planning Committee, on why the effort was created, how Loyal to Local shares its mission with the community and why the message is more important now more than ever.

A new feature that is free to participants promotes gift card purchases.

“If you represent a business that is able to support Loyal to Local, now is a great time to get involved or renew your participation as we approach the launch of the third year of the program on July 1,” Mortl said.

“We know that many area businesses are struggling financially now, and for the months ahead, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If you are able to make a small financial commitment to join us, we welcome your participation in our mission of delivering a marketing campaign that emphasizes the importance of being Loyal to Local businesses for a vibrant community.

“New this year, we are offering installment billing to help alleviate the upfront cost of participation. You will make a difference at a time when rallying in support of our local business community could not be more important.”

The webinar is available for free online and is open to the public. Pre-registration is recommended and available at bit.ly/loyaltolocalwebinar.

Those planning to participate are asked to share this information within business networks to help spread the word.

For more information on the webinar, contact Mortl at 906-282-0966, Lois Ellis at 906-360-4653 or email loyaltolocal@daeda.org. To learn more about Loyal to Local, go to loyal2local.org.
