Hotel switches to Baymont franchise

IRON MOUNTAIN — A hotel on Iron Mountain’s south side celebrated changing to the Baymont by Wyndham franchise with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce.

The hotel at 1609 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain has gone through extensive renovations, owner Kanna Gotla said. “All guest rooms are freshly painted with comfortable, new beds and updated bathrooms and vanity areas with new flooring, bathtubs, porcelain surroundings, sinks and toilets,” Gotla said. “We also added brand-new hallway carpets and seal coated the parking lot. We are excited to welcome guests for a fresh, new experience!”
