IRON MOUNTAIN – It’s that time again time to start thinking about one of the highlights of the summer in Iron Mountain – the Italian Fest.

The ninth annual Italian Fest is scheduled for Aug. 1415, and help is needed, organizers said.

“This event keeps growing each year, which is great new. With a bigger event, though, more help is needed to plan and organize all the various working parts. We are so thankful for the past support that our awesome volunteers have provided-we could not be heading in to our ninth year if it weren’t for them” noted Suzanne Anderson, who has coordinated the event for the past several years.

The event committee will be holding its first meeting in January. Volunteers are needed for both pre-event planning, as well as for on-site Aug. 14-15.
