Stephenson Bank makes community donations

MARINETTE, Wis. – The Stephenson National Bank & Trust (SNBT) has a long history of working with local non-profits aiding in their needs through providing rent-free office space, volunteering hours of community service, or donating money to help make a difference, bank officials said.

At year end, SNBT made monetary donations to 39 non-profits in Marinette, Menominee, and Oconto counties. In 2014, the bank donated roughly $100,000 back into the community.

“The Stephenson National Bank & Trust has been truly blessed and fortunate throughout our history and feel it is our responsibility to give back to the communities which have been so good to us,” said Daniel Peterson, SNBT president and CEO.

Marinette County Elderly Services (MCES) is one of the local non-profits that received a donation from SNBT at year end. MCES is using the sizable contribution toward the maintenance of their aging bus fleet.

“This contribution will help us continue to keep up with the costly repairs that accrue as our buses get older,” said Mary Basak, MCES transportation/special projects coordinator.

The Stephenson National Bank & Trust has offices in Marinette, Wausaukee, Crivitz downtown, Crivitz Piggly Wiggly, Amberg, Pembine, and Oconto in Wisconsin and Menominee in Michigan
