4-H Paper Clover promotion under way at Tractor Supply

EAST LANSING – The spring 4-H Paper Clover Campaign launched at local Tractor Supply Company (TSC) stores throughout the U.S. on April 22.

This national partnership between TSC and 4-H has been held in the spring and fall of each year since 2010 at each of Tractor Supply Company’s 1,300 stores – including 68 stores in Michigan.

Now through May 3, customers at TSC stores will be able to buy paper 4-H clovers for $1 or more at checkout with proceeds benefiting the 4-H program where the store is located. Sixty-five percent of all funds raised will support the county 4-H program, five percent supports the state 4-H program, and 30 percent will go to National 4-H Council for underwriting the cost of the program.

“Our Paper Clover efforts are one of the key ways our stores can give back to the community,” said John Wendler, senior vice president of marketing for Tractor Supply Co. “By providing essential funding for hundreds of thousands of 4-H young people, we are able to support local organizations that are important to both our customers and our team members. We’re proud to help improve the many communities in which we have stores through our partnership with -H. That is what Tractor Supply is all about.”

The most recent fundraiser, held Oct. 8-19, 2014, raised more than $40,400 for Michigan 4-H and $763,200 for 4-H nationally.

Once again, funds donated during the spring campaign will be tracked online and recorded by state and by store. Visit www.tractorsupply.com/4-H, for more information on the spring 2015 4-H Paper Clover Campaign and to view the donation tracker.

Tractor Supply Company operates more than 1,300 stores in 49 states. Tractor Supply Company stores are focused on supplying the lifestyle needs of farmers and ranchers.
