Verizon collecting toys during drive until Dec. 13

IRON MOUNTAIN – Verizon has announced the kickoff of its Hope for the Holidays Toy Drive.

The toy drive continues Verizon’s efforts to provide support to domestic violence prevention organizations, like Golden House in Green Bay, Wis.

Toys are being collected at Verizon stores in the area, including the store on Stephenson Avnue in Iron Mountain, until Sunday, Dec. 13, and will benefit children of domestic violence survivors.

Donated gifts may include items such as coloring books, crayons, board games, cars/trucks, dolls, action figures, stuffed animals, arts and crafts kits, and G-rated DVDs. All donations must be new, packaged and unwrapped.

Participating locations include: 3420 E. Calumet St., Ste. B, Appleton, Wis.; 750 N. Casaloma Drive, Grand Chute, Wis.; 467 N. Rolling Meadows Drive, Fond du Lac, Wis.; 820 Willard Drive, Ste. 206, Ashwaubenon, Wis.; 1645 S. Stephenson Ave., Iron Mountain; 2840 U.S. 41, P.O. Box 766 in Marquette; and 550 S. Koeller St. in Oshkosh, Wis.
