IMKCFCU has annual meeting

KINGSFORD — The 69th annual meeting of the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Community Federal Credit Union on March 18 drew 143 members to the Kingsford High School auditorium.

Five nominees were elected to five two-year terms on the board of directors: Kathy Barnes, Michael Stelmaszek, Daniel Wentarmini, Donna Peterson and Karen Weinert.

In other business, members heard reports from Ted Meagher, first vice chairman, and Larry Swartout of the nominating committee.

After the business meeting, credit union members were entertained by a presentation highlighting the credit union’s volunteer activities, and a performance by the musical duo, Norton & Chartier.

Several door prizes were awarded to the attending members, including three grand prizes of $300 each. The winning tickets were drawn by CJ Freeman, who also received a gift.

The oldest member in attendance was Lily Sams, who recently celebrated her 101st birthday. Jace Bonneau,age 4, was the youngest member to attend.
