The Dickinson County Board of Commissioners will meet at 5 p.m. today in the circuit courtroom of the courthouse.

The agenda includes the proposed hiring of a part-time assistant for the district court; a Michigan Department of Natural Resources Trust Fund grant application to be submitted by the Kiwanis Ski Club; and the purchase of truck and plow for Ford Airport.

The board will recess the regular meeting to conduct a public hearing at 7 p.m. in Fornetti Hall at Bay West College on Bellin Health’s asset purchase agreement with Dickinson County Healthcare System.

The Niagara Board of Education will meet at 5:30 p.m. today at Niagara Schools, 700 Jefferson Ave., Niagara. The agenda includes the hiring of an administrative assistant to the principal and a discussion on building needs.

The Florence County Board of Education will meet at 5:15 p.m. today in the Distance Learning Lab, High School Room 456. The agenda includes high school building projects and a closed session to discuss personnel issues, including a varsity girls basketball vacancy; school safety and security; and the district administrator’s contract.
