KHS college tour

Forty-eight Kingsford High School juniors will leave Tuesday on a three-day trip to visit and tour five colleges and universities. The students and four adult school chaperones will visit Central Michigan University, Michigan State University, Grand Valley State University, Ferris State University and Albion College. The students will have an opportunity to tour the campuses and speak with admissions personnel, academic advisers and financial aid officers at each school. The goal of the college visit is to expose students to various types of post secondary schools to help them make a more informed decision as they begin to select schools to continue their education. The Kingsford High School Academic Booster Club and the Dickinson Area Community Foundation helped make this trip possible.
