IRON MOUNTAIN — Two people had what are believed to be minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon on U.S. 2 in Breitung Township.

An 89-year-old Iron Mountain woman was driving west on the highway about 3:39 p.m. when she started to turn left into White Birch East and collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Vulcan girl, Iron Mountain Michigan State Police troopers said.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital for treatment, troopers said.
