MARINETTE, Wis. — A 79-year-old Coleman, Wis., man died Tuesday after being thrown from his tractor in a two-vehicle accident Thursday, Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve said.

David Hallada was on County Road B near North 11th Road in the town of Pound, Wis., when the tractor he was driving, pulling a trailer, was struck by another vehicle, Sauve said.

Hallada had serious injuries and later died at a Green Bay, Wis., hospital, Sauve said.

The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office and Marinette County Coroner George Smith.

This is Marinette County’s seventh traffic fatality of the year.
