IRON MOUNTAIN — The annual Meet the Skiers event was held at Pine Mountain as planned on Thursday despite the snowstorm, which dumped five additional inches of snow on the area.

Kiwanis Ski Club officials were still attempting to hold competition today, but it was all depending on the weather.

If they can’t jump, today’s competition would be held early on Saturday morning. Check the Kiwanis Ski Club’s Facebook page for the latest update.

Saturday and Sunday’s events start at 1 p.m. with training jumps at 11 a.m.

Buttons are available at the gate for $35 for adults and $30 for students.
