Benefit planned for Abram Johnson family on March 2

Donations needed include food, baked goods, auction items

FELCH — A benefit is slated for the Abram Johnson family of Foster City from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at the Felch Community Center.

Abram, 1-year-old son of Heidi and Steve Johnson, is being treated for brain cancer.

Donations are being sought for the benefit, including food, auction and bake sale items.

Organizers have planned a chili lunch with breads, desserts and beverages. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children ages 5 to 12, and children younger than age 5 are free.

The event is sponsored by community members.

A free-will offering also will be taken at the benefit to support the Johnsons’ in caring for Abram.
