IRON MOUNTAIN — Like migrating birds and crocuses, The Daily News’ popular I’m A Winner lottery contest has returned for the spring.

From April 1 through June 29, The Daily News will give away 25 Michigan Lottery instant tickets each day, with the exception of Sundays.

“This is a promotion that we’ve been doing in conjunction with the Michigan Lottery for a number of years, and people look forward to it,” Daily News Circulation Director Jennifer Flynn said. “It’s easy to play and a lot of fun to win.”

Over the years, The Daily News has given away more than 30,000 instant lottery tickets through this contest.

Readers can enter the contest by displaying the bright orange signs, included in today’s paper, that read “I’m a Winner with The Daily News and the Michigan Lottery.”

Signs can be placed either at home or in vehicles. Readers should begin displaying their signs today because spotters will be out today and Sunday collecting addresses and license plate numbers.

Beginning Monday, April 1, The Daily News will publish five addresses and/or license plate numbers in each day’s paper.

Readers with the matching addresses or license plate numbers are eligible to win five Michigan Lottery instant tickets.

Winners must come to The Daily News offices to claim their tickets. Proper identification is required. Readers must be 18 years old or older to participate.

All prizes must be claimed by Friday, July 12.

Complete rules are listed on page 11-A of today’s paper.
