MILWAUKEE (AP) — A sheriff deputy’s pursuit has deadly consequences in Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office says a driver being pursued by a deputy Thursday evening crashed into a third vehicle and killed a 25-year-old Milwaukee man. Authorities say the deputy began pursuing a motorist who was driving recklessly on Interstate 94/43.The car left the interstate on Milwaukee’s south side with the deputy in pursuit.

After crashing into the victim’s vehicle, an 18-year-old male driver and two female passengers ran from the scene and were later arrested. Sheriff’s officials say drugs and a gun were found in their car.
