Troy to perform at Florence library

GRAHAM TROY

FLORENCE, Wis. — Graham Troy will be performing at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Florence County Library in Florence.

This event is free to the public and sponsored by the Friends of the Florence County Library. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.

Troy, sometimes referred to as Tron, is a folk musician from Marquette. He has often times been labeled as a big teddy bear with a guitar, thesaurus, and a jones for Bob Dylan. Troy has released one EP entitled “Sarah’s Engineer,” one LP entitled “Video Day Vampyre” and a special limited edition CD version of a radio performance he did in January of 2008 on WUPX’s Juicy Goat Knee Faucet Left Turn Correct English Navel Dawn with Jeremy and Thor Bloodbath.

He had an LP in the works entitled “Seagull” but that album was scrapped when Troy formed Sparrow Tree, his new band. Troy is a folker at heart.
