Motorcyclists had a full weekend in the area, including near-perfect weather conditions. Saturday, the annual Veterans Tribute Ride made its way from Riverside Auto Sales to the Norway American Legion, making a stop at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center to honor veteran patients and residents there. Sunday, the Rev. Michael Lightner gave a “blessing of the bikes” to area motorcycle enthusiasts at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Niagara. Lightner, who once formed the Sons of Mercy Great Lakes motorcycle club in Milwaukee, wore a stole and biker attire for the ceremony.
