PESHTIGO, Wis. — Seasonal weight restrictions were lifted on all Marinette County highways effective at 6 a.m. today.

Town roads, however, may still have bans in effect, said Marinette County Highway Department officials.

In Florence County, weight restrictions will be removed on county highways effective at 12:01 a.m. Monday. Highways D and U are Class B roads, which are restricted by 40 percent and can carry a maximum of 48,000 pounds, said Joe Witynski, Florence County highway commissioner.

Town roads in Florence County may also still have bans in effect.
