The Florence County Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. today in Room 211 of Florence High School. The agenda includes a closed session for personnel considerations. There will be a second special meeting at 5:15 p.m. that includes a closed session for an expulsion hearing.

Iron Mountain City Council will meet at 6 p.m. today at City Hall, 501 S. Stephenson Ave., Iron Mountain. Agenda items include a discussion on recreational marijuana and a bid award for a used plow truck.

Kingsford City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. today in the council chambers at City Hall, 305 S. Carpenter Ave., Kingsford. The agenda includes a city ordinance prohibiting marijuana establishments.

The Florence County Board of Supervisors will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Florence County Courthouse courtroom. The agenda includes the final annual audit report and a resolution to support a minimum tobacco purchase age of 21.
