KINGSFORD – The Dickinson Conservation District is hosting a composting workshop at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at its office at 420 N. Hooper St. in Kingsford.

The workshop will go over proper construction, care and use of a compost pile. The benefits of compost and how to keep out unwanted pests also will be discussed.

This is an introductory workshop to composting for all ages.
