FLORENCE, Wis. — Valri will be performing a country-western music show at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Florence County Library.

Valri has performed, singing and playing piano throughout Michigan, California, Wisconsin and Florida, with an extensive repertoire of classic and current music. She enjoys writing original songs and incorporating Christian lyrics into secular songs, adapting them to her own musical style.

During her 36-year career in human services, she incorporated a variety of music into her career in case management with special needs adults, the Department of Child Welfare and long term care activities and management in Michigan, California, Wisconsin and Florida.

Now retired, she currently she enjoys singing, playing the organ and piano and playing for weddings and funerals at her church and for community events. She performs in long term care facilities with piano, omnichord, or recorded music with costumes and props and provides other activities.
