Amberg man dies from injuries after motorcycle collision with deer
MARINETTE, Wis. — An Amberg, Wis., man injured Sunday evening after he struck a deer with his motorcycle on County Highway C in Athelstane, Wis., has died.
George Aerts, 56, died Monday afternoon in a Green Bay hospital, according to a news release from Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve.
The traffic fatality is the seventh of the year in Marinette County, Sauve added.
The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Marinette County medical examiner.
