‘Chronic State’ film to be shown
FLORENCE, Wis. — “Chronic State: How Marijuana Normalization Impacts Communities,” a film by Drug Free Idaho about the effect of marijuana in states where it has been legalized, will be shown from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College center in Aurora, Wis.
The screening will be followed by a question-and-answer session moderated by Florence County Sheriff Dan Miller and Cheryl Welch, a licensed professional counselor and owner of Pathways to Healing Counseling Center in Florence. The screening is sponsored by the Florence County Alcohol and Other Drug Addiction and Mental Health Coalition to increase awareness on the unintended consequences of marijuana legalization.
