One injured in rollover crash in Kingsford

KINGSFORD — One driver was injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision that rolled an SUV at the corner of Westwood Avenue and Pyle Drive.

The crash happened about 2:15 p.m. when a westbound driver failed to yield the right of way and struck a northbound vehicle, rolling it onto its roof, according to a news release from Kingsford Public Safety.

The driver of the northbound vehicle was taken to the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the westbound vehicle, who was not injured, was cited in the crash.

Officers were assisted by the Iron Mountain Police Department, Beacon Ambulance Service, L.R. Vincent Towing and Edwards Chevrolet.
