Fine Arts Night set for Monday at IM’s North Elementary

IRON MOUNTAIN — Fine Arts Night has been scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at North Elementary School of the Arts, 900 Fifth St. in Iron Mountain.

The annual event aims to showcase student accomplishments in art, music, dance and drama.

The early kindergarten drama class will perform “Old MacDonald Had a Farm.”

The kindergartners are presenting an adaptation of the book “Are You My Mother?”

The first-grade students will perform “The Three Little Pigs.”

The second-graders’ presentation will be “The Bremen Town Musicians.”

The third-grade music students will show off their folk dancing skills, while the fourth-graders have prepared a recorder concert.

Student artworks will be on display on both floors at North Elementary School of the Arts.

These performances and exhibits are free and open to the public.

Kindergarten registration also will take place that evening in the first-floor conference room.

In addition to the student performances, The Scholastic Book Fair will be open in the library on the first floor. Books and other items may be purchased throughout the evening, with all proceeds from sales going to support Iron Mountain elementary students.
