Donald Gendron
BEECH GROVE, Ind. – Donald R. Gendron, 86, of Beech Grove, passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, at Beech Grove Meadows Nursing Home in Beech Grove.
He was born in Norway on Aug. 7, 1929, the son of the late Patrick and Stella (LaVigne) Gendron.
Don served his country in the U.S. Army in Germany.
He is survived by his brothers, Robert (Dorothy) Gendron of Green Bay, Wis., Eugene, Patrick, George (Diane) and Robert (Karen) Gendron, all of Norway, Gerald (Judy) Gendron of Iron Mountain and William (Shirley) Gendron of Vulcan; sisters, Georgean Proehl of Rapid River and Rosalind Schultz of Norway; sister-in-law, JoAnne Gendron of Norway; very special friends, Alice and Steve Trusty of Indianapolis, Ind.; many nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Gendron; brothers-in-law, Bert Proehl and Leonard Schultz; nephews, Paul Proehl and Todd Gendron; and great-nephew, Gregory Maynard.
A graveside service for Donald will be held at the Norway Township Cemetery in the spring.
