Alvin Olson

Alvin was born on Dec. 30, 1958, in Iron Mountain, the son of the late Ewald and Anne (Hiltonen) Olson. He has been a lifelong resident of this area and was a graduate of Iron Mountain High School.

As a young man, he was an avid baseball player.

He also enjoyed hunting and spending time at the family camp.

Alvin is survived by his sisters, Jayce Dale of Iron Mountain and Sue (Robert) Erickson of Minnesota; a nephew, Lee Erickson and nieces, Jayna Erickson and Allison Guide.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Carol Olson.

Private family services are being held.

Burial will be in Cemetery Park.
