Robert A. Wahoviak Jr.

He was born on June 2, 1938, in Sagola, son of the late Robert A. and Marion (Swanson) Wahoviak Sr. At the age of four he and his family moved from Sagola to Iron Mountain. He attended Iron Mountain Schools, graduating from Iron Mountain High School with the Class of 1957.

Robert married Mary Ann Givogre on April 2, 1960, in Iron Mountain and they spent more than 57 wonderful years together.

He worked as a truck driver, first for Clairmont Trucking, and then retiring while driving for the Teamsters Union Local 328.

In his free time, Robert loved hunting, fishing and bowling.

Robert was preceded in death by his only brother, Al Wahoviak.

Robert is survived his loving wife, Mary Ann Wahoviak of Iron Mountain; his five children, James (Debbie) Wahoviak of Iron Mountain, Edward (Wendy Schoepke) Wahoviak of Hartford, Wis., John (Kathy) Wahoviak of Kingsford, Robert “Tuba” (Debby) Wahoviak of Kingsford, and Corey Wahoviak of Iron Mountain; six grandchildren, Jim Jr. (Marquee) Wahoviak, Michael (Jessica) Wahoviak, Chelsea (Craig Strachan) Wahoviak, Cole Wahoviak, Luke Wahoviak, and Molly Wahoviak; two great-grandchildren, Jaxson Pawlak and Everett Wahoviak; sisters in-law, Joan Cowling, Patricia (Bill) Hinkley, and Joyce Edwards Wahoviak all of Kingsford; and a brother in-law, John Givogre of Gainesville, Ga.

He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews
