NIAGARA, Wis. — James Dean (Jimmy) Freeman, 56, of East Fisher Lake Parkway, Niagara, passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, at Bellin Hospital Green Bay, Wis.

Jim was born Dec. 1, 1961, in Iron Mountain, son of Karen (Larson) Hixon of Aurora, Wis., and the late Carl Edwin Freeman of Iron Mountain.

Jim loved hunting, fishing, spending time with family and friends, and going to camp. He loved telling stories of his adventures, and we all loved listening to them.

He is survived by his daughters, Casey Secrist, Kara (Felix) Shangin of Okinawa, Japan, Amber Freeman of Oakfield, Wis. sons, Iain Freeman of South Carolina, Cody Freeman of Aurora; two brothers, Mike (Pam) Freeman of Spread Eagle, Wis., and Kelly Freeman of Aurora; a sister, Cindy (Brent) Doda of Spread Eagle; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4 at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.
