Gerald Granquist
IRON MOUNTAIN — Gerald Granquist passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain.
He was born June 13, 1959, in Milwaukee, to Jack and Shirley Granquist.
Gerald graduated from Norway High School in 1977.
He served in the Navy Seabees for 5 years, stationed in San Diego.
Gerald was preceded in death by his father, Jack; brother, Michael; and sister, Cheryl.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley; brothers, Steve (Marcia), Brian and James; sisters, Doreen (Rocky) Carlson, Debra (Dennis) Greenleaf and Linda (Jim) Cootware; a great-niece, Adrianna Sanders; and a great-nephew, Maverik Cootware.
He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank all the nurses, doctors and caregivers at the hospice center at the VA Medical Center for the care they gave to Gerald.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
