Colleen M. Osier

NIAGARA, Wis. — Colleen M. Osier, 65, of Niagara, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018, at Maryhill Manor in Niagara, with her husband at her side.

She was born March 8, 1953, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Kenneth and M. Elaine (Vigneau) Osier. Colleen grew up in Niagara and graduated from Niagara High School. Colleen married the love of her life, Bruce Morstad, on Aug. 12, 1988. They lived in Iron Mountain, Niagara and the home they built “off the grid” at Deer Lake. Her career was spent as a caring and respected provider of mental health services to families in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. She retired on April 1, 2018 due to poor health.

Colleen enjoyed caring for the homes and gardens they developed over the years and spending time at Deer Lake was especially joyful. Friends and family will remember her gentle and caring personality, her beautiful smile, and her ability to connect with others. Colleen was strong, courageous, kind and loving to the end. We were all blessed to have her in our lives.
