Loraine S. Stevenson

She was born in Detroit on Jan. 6, 1931, daughter of the late Albert and Isabelle (Lewis) Sibert.

On Aug. 30, 1952, she married Charles Stevenson in Wayne and they enjoyed many wonderful years together before his passing. Loraine had a loving soul. She didn’t have an unkind word to say about anyone and found good in everyone.

Loraine is survived by her four children, Charles D. (Sandy) Stevenson, Douglas M. Stevenson, Carolyn “Carrie” R. Ray, Donald M. Stevenson; sisters-in-law, Jan (Rob) Crandall, Mary Thomas and Doris Stevenson; four grandchildren, Stephanie, John, Teresa and Christine Ray; five great-grandchildren, Mya, Jett, Jayden, Charles and Aniyah; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; two sisters, Katherine and Betty Jean; brothers-in-law, Everett Smith, Manuel Soler, Robert Stevenson and Carl Thomas; and one granddaughter, Michelle Stevenson.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
