Chester J. Turner

QUINNESEC — Chester J. Turner, 64, of Quinnesec, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, at his home.

He was born Sept. 26, 1954, in Green Castle, Ind., son of the late Arthur and Elaine (Strausberg) Turner.

Chester was a graduate of Kettle Moraine High School in Wisconsin, Class of 1972, and proudly served in the United States Marines. On Aug. 23, 1975, he was united in marriage to Roxanne Tomasini in Pewaukee, Wis.

Chester worked for several different business, including the Falk Company in Milwaukee, worked in West Virginia for a couple of years, the Niagara Paper Mill for 20 years, International Automotive in Oakland Park, Fla., for four years, and after moving back to Quinnesec in 2006, he worked for Systems Control as a wireman.

Chester enjoyed fishing, his trips to Canada, Harley riding with his brother, hunting, snowmobiling, going to camp in Powers, and especially the time he spent with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Roxanne Turner; three sons, Nicholas (Marisol) Turner of Florida, Matthew (Heather) Turner of Kingsford and Adam Turner of Atlanta; four daughters, Jodi (Josh) Wells of Spread Eagle, Wis., Charity (Kevin) Melsha of Dunbar, Wis., Natalie Turner of Shorewood, Wis., and Elissa Turner of Quinnesec; four grandchildren, Kyle, Cooper, Peyton and Kylie; two brothers, Gavin (Mary) Turner of Utah, and Arthur (Lisa) Turner of Florida; and four sisters, Vicki (Jerry) Bucholtz of Wisconsin, Melody (Jim) Cook of Florida, Lori Gepheart of Wisconsin and Millie (Alfredo) Nuno of Chicago.

In addition to his parents, Chester was preceded in death by one brother, Tim Turner; and stepfather, Frank Wilshire.

Visitation will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 at Maranatha Assembly of God Church in Kingsford. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Rev. David Wilton will officiate.
