Gerald Wayne LaSovage
WAUSAU, Wis. — Gerald Wayne LaSovage, 69, died on June 20, 2019, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Gerald “Jerry” was born on May 9, 1950, to the late Frank and Irene LaSovage of Stambaugh. Gerald is survived by his brother, Richard (Gloria); two nieces, Jane (Duane) Lombardini of Iron River and Nancy (Jeff) Viitala of Caspian.
He is also survived by five great-nieces and nephews and seven great-great-nieces and nephews.
Jerry graduated from the West Iron County Community Schools in 1970 and was a resident of the Sunset Manor in Stambaugh for many years.
A graveside service and burial at the family plot in the Stambaugh Cemetery, Iron River, will beat 2 p.m. Sunday, June 30, with the Rev. Fr. Michael Woempner, Pastor of St. Mary Queen of Peace Church, Kingsford, officiating.
Jerry’s family thanks everyone for their kindness and assistance to Jerry over all the years.
