Harold A. Henricksen

KINGSFORD — Harold A. Henricksen, 77, passed away on Saturday, June 15, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born to the late Alwyn and Edith (McMahon) Henricksen on July 23, 1941. After graduation from Kingsford High School, Harold held many jobs, including working with his father for Hoyle & Newberg Construction in Illinois.

He also drove over-the-road for 32 years before retiring from Ambrosia Chocolate Co. of Milwaukee. After retirement, he drove for several bus and trucking companies, including Dawn Trucking and Michaud Trucking.

Harold was a member of the Balsam Street Christian Church of Kingsford.

Besides his parents, Harold was predeceased by many loving relatives and friends.

He is survived by two sons and their families, Daniel Henricksen, daughter, Keanna; William (Sanna) Henricksen, daughters, Maya, Mila and son, Cedric; his former wife, Marikay Henricksen; and many relatives and friends.

Special thanks to the loving friends who helped Harold during his illness.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, July 21 at Balsam Street Christian Church in Kingsford.

The worship service begins at about 10 a.m. The Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friends are welcome to attend both.

Lunch and reminiscing will follow downstairs in the fellowship hall.
