Robert D. Miller

He was born Dec. 21, 1956, in Sturgeon Bay, Wis., son of the late Donald and Marian (Meyers) Miller. Robert grew up in Two Rivers, Wis.

On June 8, 2002, at Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine, Robert was united in marriage to Kris Ertman. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for Kremlin Mine for 30 years, retiring in 2017.

Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing on the Great Lakes. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Kris Miller of Pembine; two sons, Brian Hallada of Texas and Thomas Miller of Shawano, Wis.; two daughters, Michelle (John) Plonty of Florence, Wis. and Tracy (Jeremy) Davies of Shawano; three brothers, Richard (Jan) Miller, Thomas Miller, and Daniel (Jody) Miller, all of Two Rivers; one sister, Linda Miller of Two Rivers; and four grandchildren, Aiden Miller, Madalyn Miller, Atticus Plonty and Alexis Davies.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 12, at Jacobs Funeral Home-Niagara Chapel in Niagara, Wis.

A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate.

Burial will be in Pembine Cemetery in Pembine, Wis.
