John Baranski
VULCAN — John “Fish” Baranski, 64, of Vulcan, passed away Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, at Christian Park Village in Escanaba.
He was born on June 12, 1955, in Norway the son of the Thadeus and Rose (Opolka) Baranski.
Fish graduated from Norway High School in 1973.
He worked at the Niagara paper mill, as a logger, and for Cable Constructors for over 20 years before retiring in 2017.
He enjoyed living at his camp, going hunting and fishing.
John is survived by his sister, Roseann DeMarse; two brothers, Albert (Molly) Baranski and Michael (Danielle) Baranski; step-brother, David (Mary) Wenzel; nephew, Tyler Baranski; great-nephew, Kamden Baranski; great-niece, Kendall Baranski.
He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Richard DeMarse; and his step-father, Roy Wenzel.
Per John’s request, private graveside services will be held at the Norway Township Cemetery.
