IRON MOUNTAIN — Kenneth J. Barribeau, 76, of Goodman, Wis., passed away Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, Wis.

He was born March 28, 1943, in Goodman, Wis., son of the late Clyde and Jessie (Gordon) Barribeau. Kenneth grew up in Goodman and was a graduate of Goodman High School, Class of 1964. Ken worked for the Goodman Lumber Company for a few years after high school.

He proudly served in the United States Army from April 27, 1966, until his honorable discharge on Feb. 17, 1968. On July 9, 1966, he was united in marriage to June Hardy in Loretto. They resided in Green Bay, where Ken worked for Proctor and Gamble Company for 36 years, and a brief time for Thornberry Creek Golf Course in Hobart, Wis., they then moved to Goodman in 2004.

Ken was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Goodman. He enjoyed the outdoors, cutting wood, and harvesting maple syrup. Most of all Ken enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, June Barribeau, Goodman,; three sons, Paul Barribeau, Suamico, Wis., Thomas Barribeau, Goodman, and Andrew (Colleen) Barribeau, Oak Creek, Wis.; one daughter, Maria (Chris) Roberts, Ishpeming; four brothers, Ronald (Judy) Barribeau, Green Bay, Alfred Barribeau, Goodman, Robert (Shirley) Barribeau, Armstrong Creek, Wis., and Joe Barribeau, Goodman; one brother-in-law, Robert Kalkofen, Goodman; five grandchildren, Kyle, Bailey, Emma, Zack and Max; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Eva Hardy, Ken was preceded in death by one sister, Ella Kalkofen; one brother-in-law, Donald Pellegrini; two sisters-in-law, Sue and Trudy Barribeau; and one nephew, Robert Pellegrini.

Visitation will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Goodman. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Rev. Fr. Timothy Brandt will officiate.

Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Goodman. The Goodman-Armstrong Creek V.F.W. Post 7444 will accord military honors at Graveside.
